Kylie Naylor is founder of Walkies Dog Service; her learned experience
is from RSPCA, boarding faculties, and vet practices, assistance dog
(As dog Australia) and welfare league organizations. Her qualified
studies include Animal Attending, Vet Nursing and Cert 4 Delta Society
Australia Instructor course and she attends regular seminars, positive
training conferences always on the look out for improved positive
training techniques.
Kylie is passionate about dogs most of all Enriching dogs environment and protecting dogs temperament…
Enrichment in the back yard prevents the dog from feeling like they are not in a jail cell.
Playgroups started when she was continually coming up against training
situations where the owner and their dog could not find friendly/calm
dogs to play with. Sending clients up to the dog park can be scary.
Supplying the most suitable dogs for the correct temperament is crucial.
Cath Dombroski is one of Walkies dog service trainers, she teaches
classes casually and runs the playgroups. Her qualified studies are
Cert 4 Delta Society Australia Instructor course and she enjoys
attending regular seminars and positive training conferences her
Favourite discovery was Dr Ian Dunbar Seminars on socializing dogs
2009. She also runs her own successful dog training business Doggy
Diploma’s in the Macarthur region.
Cath is passionate about making all dogs part of the family, her goal
is to minimize the amount of surrenders the councils receive every
year.
‘Teaching people how to have a dog in their home so it’s automatic that they are part of the family’
Cath’s positive, upbeat, attitude eases you into learning with your
dog. This produces productive results and develops life – long trusting
relationships.
Niki Abela is one of our cherished handlers and training aid, she
walks, runs playgroups and assists in group training. Niki has worked
in boarding facilities and the council pound. After taking a break for
a few years the dogs have drawn her back to the Walkies team.
She has a special relationship with all of them.
“The dogs are always so grateful and never complain”
Niki is passionate about change -as they make the transition over the
weeks in group, she loves seeing them overjoyed when we arrive to pick
the dogs up, watching the changes of sometimes crazy or scared dogs
turn into calm, happy and playful dogs. The dogs adore Nikki and follow
her around like the piped piper. Nikki’s additional talent is
photography she has a fantastic eye for the dogs producing
award-winning photographs.
