About Us

Kylie is a Delta-trained Canine Good Citizen Instructor (dog trainer) and dog walker. She has over 10 years experience with dogs and trains using positive reinforcement, which means the training will be stress free for both handler and dog.  Producing productive results and developing life-long trusing relationships for owners with their dog/s.

All Walkies handling and training of any animal in service is positive and addictive!

 
Our Services

Walkies Dog Services offers the following services to Owners and their Pets in the Sutherland Shire:

Private Dog Training
25 Receive personal one-on-one consultation with your dog in its environment, or at another convenient location. Together Walkies will go through any behaviour concerns or problems you may have with your dog. Walkies will develop a program specific to your personal needs. Our aim is to produce a happy pet/owner enabling more quality time together.

 

Group Dog Training

Involves consistent training such as teaching basic obedience, giving your relationship between you and your dog extended confidence. Come along and learn will training techniques, which best suit, each specific lifestyle eg family, couple or single owner.

You will learn how to open the communications line between dog and family.

We have lots of fun trying out great tricks and games for everyone.

Ages 4 months and up.
4 Week Teen Dog Training Classes
4 Week Adult Dog Training Classes

Puppy Classes
4 Week Puppy Dog Training Classes Covered in classes; Teaching dogs to listen, bite inhibition, toilet training, basic obedeience, dog behaviour, prevent digging, walk loosely on lead, prevent jumping up and how to give back toys. The best and most important part of Walkies puppy classes is that the dogs are strictaly supervised during socialization play groups, thereby learning the appropriate way to behave which makes our new puppies become confident, and friendlier dogs.
Walkies puppy classes run for 4 weeks. Ages 8-16 weeks 

Private Dog Walking
23Exercising can decrease barking and destructive behaviours from your dog.
Walkies can train your dog so they learn to reduce lead pulling and are less aggressive towards other dogs whilst walking on the lead.
Walkies dog walking service is also available if owners find themselves working late, preoccupied with a new baby, restricted due to a personal injury, or busy with all the other events active lives hold. Walkies can help explain and or demonstrate how to use any walking equipment availble.

Dog Play Groups
19 Walkies play groups supply more for dogs that want more than a casual walk. Six dogs are carefully selected to make a well adjusted group. Dogs are run in surrounding areas of the shire such as; Cronulla, Kirrawee Dog park, Como Dog Park or Bonnet Bay.
All dogs are strictly supervised so everyone has a great time. Small or Large breed groups available. From my experience socializing dogs under supervision, there becomes a significant result in decreased aggression, increased confidence and a relaxed lifted spirits of all the dogs evolved. The dogs love it and sleep soundly that evening.

Holiday Service
30Feel safe and secure whilst away for business or pleasure by allowing Walkies to feed and exercise your dog daily. As a complimentary service Walkies dog service can collect your mail for you and put out your bins. Cats, Birds, Lizards, Snakes and Frogs are all welcome as Holiday Service. Owners pets are looked after by qualified Vet nurses and keep close relationships to owners requested vet practice.
